UFC 09

I cant wait until this game comes out for the PS3, i actually thought that these were shots from a real fight. With so much detail included in the fighters like the facial features and sweat the graphics pretty much look near perfect. The fighting and the different movements shown in the trailer bring great realism to the audience as well and seems to be a massive improvement from the original UFC games.

Comic illustation Interest

When first learning to draw i soon became fascinated in comics and as my skills improved and developed i really began to notice the detail a lot more used in other cartoon images. From growing up i used to read a range of comics but was mainly influenced by DC and Marvel as i was blown away by the imagination and range of the different characters. At times when watching the television series for Spiderman or looking at the pictures i noticed sometimes the scale of the characters seem to look inaccurate but some how always looked great and unnoticeable when drawn in action parts and seen from different perspectives, the arms and legs were angled as if they still looked symmetrical and even to each other. What has always really been truly amazing to me is how well the artist uses shading in his illustrations whether it is used on a character or in the background. when actually focusing only on the shadowed areas in strips the markings look completely random as if they have been rushed but when the final image is completed the shadowing looks a perfect fit and makes the colours stand out more to the naked eye. Ive noticed in certain comics that Marvel uses a lot of shading around the facial area creating a darker mood to a personality to the main character in the story. Shadowing is also used around the characters body parts creating more of a muscular look to pose as a threat.
