Clash of the Titans

They synchronisation of the motion and sound in this trailer is excellent. I especially like the quick scene at 1.15, of the scorpion as its stinger plunges into the ground it fits perfectly well with the louder beat of the drum sequence.

god of war 3 characters concept art

Gaia

Poseidon

Chimera

Hades
these are a few pieces of concept art of some of the characters featured in god of war 3. they are very detailed at the first stages of 2D design, but even more impressive as the 3D models as the textures of them are so imaginative and natural. In motion the surfaces of the charaters play a big part in the actual game play. The character Gaia, is designed as a moving piece of earth and you are able to climb up her body to reach higher levels.

dantes inferno review

After hearing the info and mixed reviews about this game i decided to buy it. the game starts off quickly as a medieval warrior where you are to rescue the love of your life's soul from hell fighting off various monsters.
the fighting style is like a typical hack and slash arcade adventure where you advance through the different seven deadly sins areas. It is very similar to the God of War games, at times in the gameplay you have a battle time sequence where you have to press the right buttons at the right time as they appear on screen. The worst point of the game is that you are given only two weapons. The main weopon is the scyfe and the projectile weapon is the holy cross. Throughout the game you are able to upgrade similar moves for each weapon but still the actions are very limited. after a while they both become quite tedious and i soon lost interest in them. the creatures are quite grusome and very creative especially the cerberus character

The enviroments covered with a wide range of textures and they work well with the mood of the game, but after a while they feel and look the same making the gameplay less inventive.

Avatar face

taken from the film avatar, this picture is a great example of how the sub divisions are modeled to form the facial features. when in motion the sub divisions can be stretched keeping the rest of the face more structured adding more realism
