dantes inferno review

After hearing the info and mixed reviews about this game i decided to buy it. the game starts off quickly as a medieval warrior where you are to rescue the love of your life's soul from hell fighting off various monsters.
the fighting style is like a typical hack and slash arcade adventure where you advance through the different seven deadly sins areas. It is very similar to the God of War games, at times in the gameplay you have a battle time sequence where you have to press the right buttons at the right time as they appear on screen. The worst point of the game is that you are given only two weapons. The main weopon is the scyfe and the projectile weapon is the holy cross. Throughout the game you are able to upgrade similar moves for each weapon but still the actions are very limited. after a while they both become quite tedious and i soon lost interest in them. the creatures are quite grusome and very creative especially the cerberus character

The enviroments covered with a wide range of textures and they work well with the mood of the game, but after a while they feel and look the same making the gameplay less inventive.
